LOWELL, Mass. – The University of Maine women's soccer team battled back twice to earn a 2-2 tie against UMass Lowell on Thursday night at Cushing Field.

The River Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the 27th minute, holding that edge through the start of the second half. In the 57th minute,
Grace Johnson scored her first career goal when she curled in a deep ball from 45 yards out.

After UMass Lowell retook the lead in the 77th minute, the Black Bears responded yet again six minutes later.
Meghan Bernetti sent a long ball into the box which
Victoria Dungey headed down for a finish from
Jordane Pinette.

Neither team scored over the final seven minutes of play for the 2-2 final.
