STORRS, Conn. - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team fell to #15 UConn in the series finale on Saturday, 3-0 at Toscano Family Ice Forum.

Shots on goal were even with 33 total for each team, but the Huskies were able to pop in one goal in each period to maintain the lead. The first period goal came on a powerplay opportunity for the Huskies. 

Game Notes:
Netminder Julia Bachetti made 30 saves on 33 shots faced for the Black Bears. 
Maine killed off 5-of-6 penalties successfully.
Maine blocked 18 shots.
Adriana van de Leest led Maine with 6 shots on goal.

Up Next:
Maine will head home to host the University of New Hampshire for two games on Jan 24/25. Puck drop is set for 6:00 pm/4:00 pm respectively.This will be Maine's first time at the Alfond since Dec. 7. Friday's game will be the 'Fill the Steins' game, where tickets are on sale for $6.
