ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine Athletic Department announced that Jordan Fitzpatrick will not return as head softball coach, effective immediately.

"I want to thank Jordan for her service to the University of Maine and wish her all the best moving forward," said Director of Athletics Jude Killy.

"I'm grateful for my time at UMaine and the relationships built with staff, players, and supporters," said Fitzpatrick. "UMaine will always hold a special place in my heart."

A national search will begin immediately for Fitzpatrick's successor.
