Luke Marsanskis, Mackenzie Wilson selected to compete in NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships

ORONO, Maine - The NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country Committee has announced the participants for the 2024 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships First Round competitions which include two Black Bears in Luke Marsanskis and Mackenzie Wilson. The East first-round for competitions is scheduled for May 22 - 25, hosted by The University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky.

Both Marsanskis and Wilson earned conference titles at the America East Outdoor Championships.

Luke Marsanskis, a graduate student from Cumberland Center, ME will compete in the 10000-meter run. Marsanskis won the 10000-meter run at the America East Outdoor Championships. He also broke the school record in the 10k earlier in the year at the Raleigh Relays. Marsanskis will compete at 9:10 PM on Wednesday, May 22.

Mackenzie Wilson, a senior from Lasalle, Ontario, continues to break Maine's school record in the hammer throw and will have another chance in Lexington, KY. Wilson titled at the America East Outdoor Championships and the New England Championships. She currently sits at 63.80 meters. Wilson will compete at 10 AM on Thursday, May 23.
