Orono, ME - The University of Maine baseball team defeated Bryant on Sunday afternoon.
First Pitch: Noon (7-5 Black Bears)
First Inning: Bryant scored their opening run of the contest on a throwing error by the Black Bears.
Second Inning: Bryant scored one run on a sac-fly to right field.
Jonathan Gonzalez got the Black Bears on the scoreboard as he hit a two-run single to left field, scoring
Dean O'Neill (1B) and
Zach Martin (1B).
Sixth Inning: Maine scored five runs in the frame.
Jeph Hadson-Taylor gave the Black Bears the lead in the sixth frame as he had an infield single that scored O'Neill (BB).
Jeremiah Jenkins brought home Maine's fourth run of the game on a bases loaded walk, scoring Martin (1B).
Connor Goodman hit an RBI single to left field, scoring Hadson-Taylor (1B).
Nick White capped off the inning with a two-run double to left center, scoring
Colin Plante (BB) and Jenkins (BB).

Gianni Gambardella made his return to the mound with two outs in the seventh inning.
