Rock Hill, SC - The University of Maine baseball team was swept in a three-game weekend series at Winthrop after falling in the series finale, 15-4.
Game 3: First Pitch 2 P.M. (15-4 Winthrop)
First Inning: Winthrop put up a crooked number in the first frame as they scored seven runs in the first inning.
Third Inning: Jake Marquez got the Black Bears on the scoreboard as he hit an RBI single to left field, scoring Myles Sargent (E6).
Fourth Inning: Winthrop scored three more runs in the third inning, spelling the end of the day for Noah Lewis. Lewis allowed 10 runs on 10 hits, 3 walks and 1 strikeout in 3 and ⅓ innings of work. Blaine Cockburn was called on in relief.
