Boca Raton, FL - The University of Maine baseball team was defeated by FAU in the series opener.

First Pitch: 6:30 P.M. (15-2 FAU)

Third Inning: Nick White got the Black Bears on the board first as he hit a sac-fly to left field, scoring Jeph-Hadson Taylor (1B) on the play.

Connor Goodman made it 2-0 Black Bears as he hit an RBI single to left field, scoring Chase Trolaro (1B) on the play.

FAU got one run back in the bottom of the frame on a solo home run.

Fifth Inning: FAU plated four runs in the frame to take the lead at 5-2.
