ORONO, Maine - Head Coach Molly Engstrom of the University of Maine women's ice hockey team has been named to the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team as an assistant coach for the Six Nations Tournament. The 2024 Six Nations Tournament is slated to be played December 11-15, 2024 at Hakametsä in Tampere, Finland. 

The tournament, which is the third competition on the annual Women's Euro Hockey Tour, has six participating countries split in to two groups. Group A is the United States, Finland and Switzerland, while Group B is Canada, Czechia and Sweden. 

Team USA's roster is 25 players that make up the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team. The U.S., along with Canada, are taking rosters of college-eligible players only, while the remaining four teams will field their full senior Women's National Teams. 

Engstrom most recently served as an assistant coach with USA Hockey's U22 Women's Collegiate Team in August of 2024 for a series against Canada. Additionally, she has served as an assistant coach with Team USA's Women's Senior National Team for the Rivalry Series against Canada in 2022.

A two-time former member of the United States women's Olympic Team, Engstrom is in her third season as the head coach of the Black Bears.
