Durham, NH - The University of Maine women's ice hockey team was swept by the University of New Hampshire after giving up their first-period lead, Saturday at the Whittemore Center Arena.
Similar to Friday's contest, Maine let go of their one-goal advantage allowing UNH to sneak back into the lead late in the game.Â
Maine notched two goals in the first period from freshman
Ashley Kokavec on the power play and senior
Elise Morphy on an even-strength opportunity. Kokavec and Morphy were the goal scorers in Friday's 4-2 loss, also.

Ava Stevenson,
Ann-Frederique Guay and
Rahel Enzler earned an assist each.
The Wildcats scored twice in the final frame, one being an empty net goal.Â
Julia Bachetti made 26 saves for the Black Bears, as the team put up 35 shots on goal.Â
The Black Bears fall to an 11-14-2Â (7-11-2 HE) record.Â
