AMESBURY, Mass. – Brandon Chabrier has been named the Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week, as announced on Tuesday by the league.
 
Chabrier had three points on one goal and two assists as Maine defeated RIT and Dartmouth en route to the 2023 Ledyard Classic title. In Friday's 5-2 win over the #18/19 Tigers, Chabrier opened the scoring just three minutes into the game with his fourth goal of the season. On Saturday, the Bayville, N.Y. native recorded his third multi-point game of the season with two helpers in the 5-1 victory.
 
The sophomore finished the weekend with four shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating.
 
This is the third Defender of the Week honor this season for Chabrier.
