HARTFORD, Conn. – The #7 University of Maine men's hockey team scored five goals in the third period to erase a two-goal deficit and earn a 5-3 win over UConn on Friday night at the XL Center.

The Huskies took a 2-0 lead less than five minutes into the contest and held that margin through two periods of play. A
Harrison Scott power-play goal 2:59 into the third period finally got the Black Bears on the board.

UConn went up 3-1 with 13:31 to play but Maine responded with four goals in the span of nine minutes.
Brandon Holt scored a short-handed goal followed by strikes from
Bradly Nadeau and
Josh Nadeau before Holt sealed the comeback with an nearly empty-net goal.
