Orono, ME – The University of Maine women's soccer team scored twice in the second half to take down the Terriers of Boston University, 2-1.
Shayla brown scored the opening goal for Boston University.
Maine wasted little time in the second half before tying up the contest at 1-1 as Kristina Kelly fired home her first goal of the season off of a feed by Julie Lossius (2).
Abby Kraemer netted the game-winner for the Black Bears in the 88th minute as she tapped in a great feed by Lara Kirkby (1).
Kira Kutzinski racked up six saves in net for the Black Bears as she was key to extending the Black Bears undefeated start to the 2023 season.
Maine (4-0-3) is back in action on Sunday, Sep. 10 as they travel to Chicago to face UIC. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 P.M.
