Orono, Maine – Maine Athletics is excited to announce the Black Bear Rewards fan loyalty add-on, presented by Bangor Savings Bank, to the 'Black Bear Nation' application!

Black Bear Rewards, located within the Black Bear Nation app, is UMaine's new athletics rewards-based program. This free program will allow fans like you the opportunity to earn points by attending games and special events. The points that you earn can be redeemed for exclusive merchandise, tickets, and unique experiences.

To access your account, and claim your first 100 bonus points, please follow the instructions below.

1.     Download the Black Bear Nation app

2.     Click the menu icon in the top left corner of the Black Bear Nation app, then navigate to "Black Bear Rewards".

3.     Sign into your account using your email address and password that you set.

4.     Earn points by attending Maine events. You must have GPS enabled to receive points. Come early and stay late to earn additional points!

For fans who already have the Black Bear Nation app, please update your current application to gain access to the rewards program.

Make sure to get your Black Bear Rewards setup prior to this weekend so you can check in and claim your points at Friday's field hockey game, Saturday's women's ice hockey exhibition, and Sunday's men's ice hockey open practice & Skate with the Bears event!
