Orono, Maine – The University of Maine women's basketball team presents a special opportunity for Black Bear Nation! The Black Bears team will be traveling to Australia for nine days/eight nights (May 12-22) and you're invited!

Included in the trip will be:

• Time in Sydney & Cairns
• Three games featuring the Black Bears taking on Australian professional and semi-professional teams
• 4.5 to 5 star hotel accommodations
• Pet a kangaroo
• Climb the Sydney Harbor Bridge
• Snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef
• Swim at Bondi Beach
• Cuddle a koala
• See a show at the Sydney Opera House

We are excited to offer you this wonderful opportunity! We have limited space for fans at a very special rate. Cost for the trip is $11,700 for a couple or $6,650 for a single person. A portion ($1000) of the cost of the trip from each traveling participant will go directly to support the UMaine women's basketball team. The $1000 will go towards assisting with the costs of the trip for our players, helping to take UMaine basketball overseas, as well as prepare for next season with team bonding experiences and competition against challenging opponents in Australia.

Deadline to commit is Oct. 1. A deposit of $1,000 per person is due on Oct. 1 with a second installment of $2,500 per person due on or before Dec. 1. The final balance is due on or before Feb. 1, 2024. More details on optional meal packages will be available at a later date.
