Orono, ME – The University of Maine dropped the second game of the weekend series against UMBC on Saturday afternoon, 9-8.

Quinn McDaniel got the Black Bears on the board first as he hit a single to center field, scoring

Fourth Inning: UMBC scores their first run of the game on a bases loaded hit by pitch.

Myles Sargent hit his sixth home run of the season on a two-run home run to left field.

Fifth Inning: UMBC scored a pair of runs in the frame on a fielder's choice and a double by Luke Trythall.

Sixth Inning: Tony Krueger got UMBC back in front on a sac-fly to center field. Ian Diaz added on with an RBI single.

Justin Baeyens was called on to get out of the sixth inning for the Black Bears.
