Third Inning: Bryant got the scoring going as Justin Hackett hit a solo home run to left field.

Fourth Inning: Bryant plated two runs on a single to right field by Jake Gustin.

Fifth Inning: The Black Bears got on the board in the fifth inning as
Ryan Turenne hit his second home run of the season, a rocket of a solo shot to right field.

Jake Rainess followed up the Turenne home run with a home run of his own, this one being a two-run shot to right field, scoring
Colin Plante (2B).

Connor Goodman capped off the 5-run inning as he singled home
Quinn McDaniel (2B) and then
Jeremiah Jenkins (IBB) scored on a throwing error by the shortstop.

Seventh Inning: Bryant tied the contest up at 5-5 as they hit a sac-fly to left field.

Ninth Inning: For the second time in 2023,
Quinn McDaniel played the hero at Mahaney as he hit his second walk-off hit of the season at home. He singled to left field, scoring
Matt McElwain (1B) on the play.

Luc Lavigueur (1-3) picked up the win for Maine in relief as he allowed just 1 run on 2 hits, no walks and a pair of strikeouts across 3 innings of work.

Liam LeVangie (0-3) took the loss for Bryant.

Maine (26-19, 17-5 AE) outright clinched the America East title with the win. Maine stays at home for game two of the weekend series on Friday, May 19. Friday will be Senior Day at Mahaney, which will begin at 3:40 P.M.
