Orono, ME - The America East Association announced Wednesday morning that Mackenzie Wilson was named the female field performer of the week for her performance at the UMass Commonwealth Invite over the weekend. 

Wilson, a senior from Lasalle, Ontario placed first in the hammer throw over the weekend with a mark of 60.84m. Wilson's throw is first in conference, third in the Northeast region, and twenty-fourth on the East region leaderboard. This throw was also a PR for Wilson, helping her remain third on Maine's all-time top-10 list.

The Black Bears are set to continue on the road for a weekend matchup against Holy Cross on Apr. 22.
