La Salle rallied early in the second quarter to take a three point edge before the Black Bears answered with a 12-2 run.

Maine's lead would stand at 34-32 at the break.
The Black Bears, still leading by two late in the third period, ended the quarter with a 7-2 run. Simon started the spring with a triple before buckets from Smith and
Sarah Talon raced Maine's lead out to 45-38 after three.
Maine's offense continued to roll into the fourth as a 7-0 run, started by a triple from Bornemann to put her into double-figures on the evening, gave the Black Bears their largest lead of the game at 57-41 with 4:32 remaining.
The Black Bears cruised down the stretch, scoring their first win of the season by a final of 58-48.
