Orono, Maine – The University of Maine women's soccer team clinched an berth in the upcoming America East Women's Soccer Tournament with a 2-0 win over Bryant University on Sunday afternoon at Mahaney Diamond.

Abby Kraemer and
Julie Lossius scored for Maine in the Homecoming Weekend victory that moves the Black Bears to 9-1-4 overall and 4-1-1 in America East play.

The Black Bears opened the scoring in the 24th minute on a goal from Kraemer, with Lossius' through ball connecting on the right side of the box. Kraemer calmly finished past the Bryant goalkeeper to the far post.

In the 57th minute, Kraemer got the ball on the end line and slotted it through a defender's legs before centering back to Lossius for a mid-air volley to the near post.

- Maine had the 20-2 lead in shots on a 10-1 edge in shots on goal.
- The Black Bears earned eight corners to Bryant's one.
- Abby Kraemer led Maine with a game-high six shots and four shots on goal.
