Orono, ME - The University of Maine soccer team lost their first game of the season on Thurday evening at UMass Lowell, 2-0.
Laura Cetina (58th) and Chloe Layne (79th) scored the two goals for the River Hawks.
Kira Kutzinski picked up four saves in net for the Black Bears.
Maine (8-1-4, 3-1-1 AE) returns to Orono for Senior Day against Bryant on Sunday, Oct. 15 as part of Homecoming at UMaine. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:05 P.M. with the Senior Day Ceremony scheduled for 12:45 P.M.
