Orono, ME - The University of Maine women's soccer program scored twice in the second half to remain undefeated in 2023 as they tied UMBC, 2-2.
Natasha Munro (26th minute) and Meghan McKye (38th minute) got UMBC up by two goals in the first half.
Doireann Fahey got the Black Bears on the board in the 58th minute as she scored her second goal of the season on a free kick. Lara Kirkby (2) picked up the assist.
Kristina Kelly tied the contest up at 2-2 in the 83rd minute as she shot the ball on the corner kick and sunk the shot over the goalkeeper and into the opposite side of the net.
Kira Kutzinski picked up four saves in the tie.
Maine (7-0-4, 2-0-1 AE) heads on the road as they travel to NJIT on Sunday, Oct. 8. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 P.M.
