Women’s Track & Field Compete in Day One of the River Hawk Invite

Boston, MA - The University of Maine women's track and field team compete on day one of the River Hawk Invite and grab one first place finish from Mackenzie Wilson.

Mackenzie Wilson led the Black Bears earning first overall in the weight throw with a mark of 18:32m.

Maine came home with a pair of third place finishes from Ashley Martinez and Cheyenne Figueora in their respective events. Martinez finished with a mark of 1.70m in the high jump and Figueora ended with 17.47m in the weight throw.

Yasmen Farag earned sixth place for Maine in the pole vault (3.51m) and Stella Inman also finished in sixth place in the shot put (12.57m).

Rachel Hodge placed tenth in the 3000 meter run coming in with a time of 10:03.84.
