Orono, Maine -- University of Maine rising junior Caroline Bornemann is set to compete for her native Denmark in the 3-on-3 European Qualifier event in Romania, beginning on Saturday, June 4.

Bornemann and Team Denmark will open the competition in Pool C when they take on Hungary on Saturday at 10:50 a.m. (Denmark time)/3:0 a.m. EST. Denmark will then take on Great Britain on Saturday at 12:30 p.m./5:30 a.m. EST. Bornemann is joined on Team Denmark by Frida Formann (University of Colorado), Alberta Rimdal (Florida), and Julianna Okosun (Marquette).

The top two qualifying teams will advance to compete in the 3-on-3 Europe Cup in Austria, Sept. 9-11.
