First Inning: Will Binder got the game going in a big way as he took the second pitch of the game and hit a solo home run to left center.

Jake Marquez got the Black Bears on the board in the fourth inning as he hit an RBI double down the left field line, scoring
Jeremiah Jenkins.

Caleb Leys day came to an end after 5 innings of work as he allowed 1 earned run on 5 hits, 3 walks and striking out 6.

Seventh Inning:
Connor Goodman grabbed the lead for the Black Bears as he laid down a bunt single to second to score
Jake Marquez.
Joe Bramanti made it a 4-1 game as he hit a no-doubt 2-run home run to right field, scoring Goodman.

Cregg Scherrer's day came to an end during the 6
th inning as he lasted 6 and 2/3 innings, allowing 6 earned runs on 9 hits, 5 walks and striking out 9.

Jeff Mejia plated a pair of runs on a double to left center, scoring
Jeremiah Jenkins and
Scout Knotts to cap off a 5-run seventh inning for the Black Bears.

Eighth Inning: Michael Whalen got one back for the Great Danes as he was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to make it 6-2. Josh Loeffler made it 6-3 as he hit a sac-fly to left field, scoring Brad Malm.

Ninth Inning: John Daly cut into the Black Bear lead as he hit a 2-run double to center field, scoring Johnny Marti and Matt Soloman.

Noah Lewis (3-2) picks up the win in relief, as he went 3 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 4 hits, no walks and striking out 4.

Cregg Scherrer (2-4) took the loss for the Great Danes.

Maine, who moves 21-5 in America East action, wraps up the weekend series against the Great Danes on Sunday, May 15. First pitch has been moved up to 10 A.M. due to forecasted weather.
