ORONO, ME – The University of Maine baseball team drop the closing matchup of the series against Stony Brook on Sunday, 8-2.

First Inning: Stanton Leuthner got the game going early as he hit a leadoff home run to begin the Sunday's series finale. Brett Paulsen kept the bats going as he hit an RBI-single to right field, bringing home Shane Paradine.

Jake Rainess got the Black Bears on the board in the second inning as he hit an RBI-groundout to shortstop, allowing
Joe Bramanti to come home to score.

Jordan Schulefand tied the game up at 2-2 as he an RBI-groundout to shortstop, bringing home
Jake Rainess.

Sixth Inning: Shane Paradine made it a 3-3 day for himself, this time hitting a home run to deep left field to give the Seawolves a 3-2 lead.

Brett Erwin's day came to an end in the sixth inning, as he threw 5 and 2/3 innings, allowing 3 runs and striking out 3.

Cole Durkan kept the bats going as he hit an RBI-single to left field, bringing home Matt Brown-Eiring.

Ninth Inning: Stanton Leuthner added some extra insurance as he hit an RBI single to center field, driving in Derek Yalon. Shane Paradine followed up one batter later, with an RBI double to left field, bringing home Leuthner. Evan Girodano hit an RBI-single to left field, bringing home Paradine.
