WEST HARTFORD, CT – The University of Maine men's basketball team fell at the Hartford Hawks, 75-65.

The Black Bears jumped out to an early lead as Fofo Adetogun buried two quick 3-pointers to help his squad get out to a 7-point lead at 17-10.

Maine would be anchored defensively by
Stephane Ingo, who sent two shots back with some key blocks for the Black Bears.

Maine who held onto the lead until the late stages of the first half, as Hartford grabbed its first lead with a Moses Flower dunk with 3:27 left in the opening half.

The two sides would trade the lead 5 times in the final 2:30, with the Hawks ultimately heading into the half with the slim 2-point lead, 37-35.

Adetogun would lead the Black Bears with 10 points at the midway point.

Moses Flowers would lead the Hawks with 13 at halftime.

The Hawks would come out in the second half forcing the Black Bears into turnovers, which aiding them in getting out to an 11-point lead 8 minutes into the second half.

Maine would chip into the Hawks lead until Traci Carter completed a 4-point play with 2:52 left in the second half, increasing his sides lead back to double-digits at 11.

The Hartford Hawks would hold onto their late lead and come away with their third-straight victory, a 75-65 win over the Black Bears.
