Orono, ME - In honor of 25 years of the program's history, UMaine Athletics is highlighting the ten top moments of Maine women's ice hockey over the past 25 years.
Right as Maine women's ice hockey was rising from club to a Division one program, Alison Lorenz set multiple school records.
In the 1997-98 season Lorenz earned the most points in a single game (6) which she earned versus Amherst. She also scored the most goals in a game with five vs Conn. College. These two games and records also helped her earn the other two records from that season. Lorenz earned the most goals in the 1997-98 season with 38. She also had the most points in a single season with 60 points on 38 goals and 22 assists.
