Orono, Maine -- On Sept. 1, University of Maine women's ice hockey head coach Ricky Reichenbach received the thrill of a lifetime as he was selected to ride along with the legendary Blue Angels, a flight demonstration squadron of the United States Navy.

Reichenbach was nominated for the special honor for his commitment to serving the youth in the state of Maine, his dedication to raising money for cancer research, and founding the only all-girls youth hockey program in Maine.
