ORONO, Maine -- The University of Maine women's soccer team tied Marist College, 1-1, on Sunday afternoon at the Mahaney Diamond.

The two non-conference teams posted a scoreless first half.
Kira Kutzinski recorded two saves in the opening 45:00.

First Goal (Maine 1-0):
Delaney LaBonte scored the second goal of her career 15 minutes into the second half. After collecting a loose ball in the box, the sophomore gave Maine a short lead.

Second Goal (1-1): Amanda Caldarelli tied the Sunday afternoon game at one goal apiece after Samantha Sturno took a corner for the Red Foxes. The goal sent the game into overtime.

As was the case with the first half, the squads battled to two scoreless overtime periods.

Maine recorded 10 shots on goal to Marist's five while also winning the corner kick battle 4-3.
