Orono, Maine – University of Maine head football coach Nick Charlton has announced the addition of transfer linebacker Brian Lee, Jr. Lee, a junior, will be eligible to compete in the fall of 2021
 
Lee joins the Black Bears after spending two years at Saint Francis University where he appeared in 23 games while registering 81 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and one interception.
 
In 2019, Lee appeared in all 12 games for St. Francis and ranked third on the team with 70 total tackles while checking in second in the program with 12.5 tackles for loss.
 
Prior to his time at St. Francis, Lee played at Westlake high school where he helped guide the Wolverines to an 8-3 record and a share of the conference title in 2017. In his senior season at Westlake, Lee recorded 75 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, three sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery.
