ORONO, Maine - Samuel Duerr, a defenseman from the St. Cloud Norsemen of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), will begin attending the University of Maine in the spring semester and will finish the 2021-22 hockey season with the men's hockey team.

Duerr played 22 regular season games with the Norsemen and put up two goals and eight assists.

Previous to his time with St. Cloud, the Chicago, Illinois native played 19 total games in the USHL with Sioux Falls and BCHL with the Vernon Vipers.
