Orono, Maine -- Maine looks for its third-straight win, and 14th-straight over Rhode Island, as the two long time rivals meet for the 99th time in the history of the two programs on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Meade Stadium at 1 p.m.

In the latest meeting (2019), Maine outscored URI 21-3 over the final 8:24 of the game to complete a 34-30 comeback victory in Orono. Maine's last trip to URI (2018) ended in thrilling fashion as Kenny Doak hit a 39-yard field goal as time expired to complete a 38-36 walk-off victory. Maine has averaged 35.6 points per game in its last five outings against the Rams.
- Maine is coming off its first road win of the season after earning a 19-16 win at UAlbany. The win, Maine's seventh consecutive over the Great Danes, was led by the defense which produced a season-high 6.0 tackles for loss, a season-high 3.0 sacks, and limited UAlbany to just three first half points.
