Orono, Maine -- The America East Conference announced on Thursday, Jan. 14 that the University of Maine women's basketball series, originally scheduled to be played in Orono on Jan. 16-17 against Vermont, has been postponed after Vermont was deemed unavailable due to COVID-19 protocols. The Black Bears' series at UAlbany, originally scheduled for Feb. 6-7, will now be played on Jan. 16-17, at UAlbany, with both games scheduled for 12 p.m.

Information on future plans, including makeup dates and times for the series with Vermont, will be announced at a later date.

Maine's contests at UAlbany will be streamed live on ESPN+ and broadcast locally over the radio at 96.1 WGUY-FM and worldwide at GoBlackBears.com.
