BANGOR, Maine - The University of Maine men's basketball team fell for their second straight contest on Sunday afternoon, as the UAlbany Great Danes came into the Cross Insurance Center and dispatched the Black Bears by a 66-60 final score.
Maine ran out a 15-6 run into the halftime break to draw within two points and send things into the locker room at a 36-34 UAlbany advantage. The second half didn't go Maine's way however, as they went 3-21 from three in the second half and shot just 28.6% in the final stanza. A 1-6 performance to close things out from the field negated any chance at a comeback.
