Mike Coutts has announced the softball class of 2024. The five members are: Alexandra Gruitch, Gabby Papushka, Katie Jo Moery, Kyrah Dailey, and Rylee Kent.

Alexandra Gruitch | P | Greenwood Village, Colorado | Cherry Creek High School
Gruitch, a letter winner at Cherry Creek, is a 5'9" north-south pitcher with a velo of 62-63 mph. A starter for her high school team, Gruitch finished her high school career with a sub 2.00 ERA, multiple all-conference honors, and, most recently, a squad victory at the 18U Open Pony Express.

Gabby Papushka | INF | White Rock, British Columbia, Canada | Ecole Earl Marriott Secondary School
Papushka, a 5'10 middle infielder, finished her time (seven years) with the White Rock Renegades with a .490 batting average. The letter winner at Ecole Earl Marriott will attend the University of Maine in the fall of 2021.

Katie Jo Moery | U | Alexandria, Virginia | West Potomac High School
Moery, a letter winner at West Potomac, completed the 2018-19 season with a .500 batting average. She scored 32 runs while driving in 21 RBI with 28 hits. The utility player led her squad to a district championship, while also being recognized with conference awards.

Kyrah Dailey | OF | Lincoln, Nebraska | North Star High School
Dailey, a three-time varsity letter winner at North Star, has earned multiple district, club, and region awards during her high school career. Dailey recorded a .485 batting average and .787 on base percentage during her time before Maine.

Rylee Kent | 1B/C | Lake Worth, Florida | Park Vista Community High School
Kent, a three year member of the varsity team, tallied a .565 batting average with a .667 on base percentage during her junior season at Park Vista. The infielder had the same level of success with her club team, Crossfire.
