ORONO, Maine -- University of Maine rising sophomore point guard Dor Saar recently completed her summer competition where she helped guide her native Israel to a sixth place finish at the 2018 FIBA U20 Women's European Championships.

In seven games, Saar averaged 11.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists. Saar posted double-figure scoring efforts in five of Israel's seven games, including an impressive 17-point outing against Great Britain in which she finished 5-of-6 from three-point range. Saar followed up her 17 point performance with a 14 point, six assist showing against Bulgaria.

Saar led all Championship participants with a 63.3-percent mark from three-point range (19-30) and ranked third on Team Israel in points per game, second in assists per game and fourth in rebounding.
