BOSTON – This weekend, several members of the UMaine men's and women's track and field team traveled to Boston University to compete against top competition at the ECAC and IC4A Championships.

The heptathlon was split between Friday and Saturday, with
Garrett Johnson (4379) and
Camden Cleathero (4326) completing the seven events in ninth and 10
th place, respectively. Johnson won the 1000m run (2:45.97) in the seventh event.

In preliminary action on Saturday,
Lauren Magnuson grabbed 14
th place in the 200m dash (24.94), while
Tiffany Tanner finished 24
th in the 800m run (2:12.62).

Alice Barnsdale was the lone field competitor for the women on the weekend, as the freshman took 20
th in the weight throw with a toss of 16.18m.

On Sunday,
Aaron Willingham and
Jacob Johns ran in the 3000m run, with Willingham recording a time of 8:17.55 for a 12
th place finish, while Johns crossed the line in 8:45.57 for 30
th.

The Black Bears wrapped up indoor season on Sunday, and will begin the outdoor season on the weekend of March 16 at the UCF Black and Gold Challenge in Orlando.
