ORONO, Maine – The University of Maine men's and women's cross country teams will compete in their final home meet of the season this Friday against rival New Hampshire. The women's race is set to start at 3:00 p.m. with the men's race to start the following the women's race.

Junior
Aaron Willingham has been the top finisher in both meets this season for the men's squad, finishing the five-mile UMaine course with a time of 25:24.3 earlier this season against Army West Point. Willingham finished third overall.

Sophomore
Jacob Terry finished second on the team in both races so far this season with a time of 25.53.5 against Army West Point along with a time of 19:43 (6K) at the Minuteman Invitational last week.Â

Logan Moses, the lone senior on the men's side, will be running his final home meet as a Black Bear. For the women, seniors

Hannah Smith, and Ahlin Sungswan will compete for one final time in Orono on Friday.

Junior
Haley Lawrence ran a team-best time of 19:02.1 at home against Army West Point on September 1. Classmate Kaitlyn Saulter finished eight seconds behind Lawrence on that day, good enough for seventh-place overall against the Black Knights.

After today's dual meet, both the men and women's teams will head compete at the Battle of Beantown next Saturday in Boston.
