The University of Maine women's cross country team hosted New Hampshire Friday afternoon and lost to the Wildcats by a team score of 22-39.

The Black Bears had two runners finish in the top-ten. Kaitlyn Saulter was once again Maine's fastest runner finishing second at 18:49.2. Haley Lawrence also had a great day finishing fourth at 19:52.9. Faith Gardner placed 13th at 19:42.7 and Tiana Bibb finished 15th at 19:47.4.

The team is set to travel to Boston, Massachusetts on Oct. 8 to compete in the New England Championships at Franklin Park.
