Biography
The only All-American in program history, Kraemer ended her career as a two-time All-American … the first two-time All-American from the America East in 25 years … in February 2025, it was announced that Kraemer would become just the eighth female student-athlete in Maine history to have their jersey retired, and the first from the soccer program.
SENIOR (2024): Third Team All-American … America East All-Conference First Team … America East All-Conference First Team … All-Atlantic Region Second Team … 2024 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List ... started all 18 contests en route to becoming the first two-time All-American from the America East in 25 years … led Maine in points (19), goals (7), shots (74) and shots on goal (30) … finished second in assists with a career-high five and in game-winning goals with three … went 2-for-2 on penalty kicks … scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over UMass Lowell (Oct. 3) to help Maine set an America East record home game unbeaten streak … scored the game-winner in a 1-0 win at New Hampshire (Oct. 31) to help deliver Maine’s first-ever regular season title … recorded her first career multi-assist game with a one-goal, two-assist performance in the season-opener at Le Moyne (Aug. 15) … assisted on two game-winning goals … fifth among field players with 1,274 minutes played.
JUNIOR (2023): Second Team All-American … America East Striker of the Year … America East All-Conference First Team … America East All-Tournament Team … All-Region First Team … NCAA DI First Team Scholar All-American … NCAA DI Academic All-District … America East Women’s Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year … America East All-Academic Team … played and started in 18 contests en route to becoming the first All-American in program history … lead the league in points (30), points per game (1.76), goals (13), goals per game (0.72), game-winning goals (6), shots (68) and shots per game (3.78) and consistently ranked in the top 15 in the nation in those same categories … 13 goals marked the most for an America East player in a single season since 2018 … six game-winning goals on the year tied for the most by an America East player since 2019 … fifth among Maine field players with 1,372 minutes played … had three braces and three one-goal, one-assist games … scored two goals, including the 90th-minute game-winning goal, in the 2-1 win over Vermont in the America East Tournament semifinal (Nov. 2)
SOPHOMORE (2022): America East All-Conference Second Team ... started all 17 games for the Black Bears … scored a team high seven goals while dishing out two assists for a total of 16 points … scored one game-winning goal … found the back of the net during the first game of the season (Aug. 21) ... scored a season high two goals in a victory against Vermont (Oct. 9) ... scored and dished out an assist in the America East playoff victory over NJIT (Nov. 3).
FRESHMAN (2021): America East All-Rookie Team ... started every game during her freshman season in Orono … logged 888 minutes at striker … tallied five goals and one assist over the first 14 games of her collegiate career … scored her first career goal in her first career game during a 2-0 victory against Sacred Heart (Aug. 19) ... found the back of the net two times while dishing out an assist during a 4-1 victory at home over Stony Brook (Oct. 10) ... named America East Rookie and Player of the Week after her two goal and one assist performance against the Seawolves.
BEFORE MAINE: Attended Resurrection Catholic Secondary School ... won two district titles during her high school career ... was the league’s top scorer twice ... named athlete of the year twice ... also played field hockey and ice hockey and won two field hockey league championships while leading the league in scoring three times...
PERSONAL: In her free time, she loves to hike with her dog, Champ ... favorite television shows are The Office, Parks and Recreation and Survivor ... The Toronto Maple Leafs and Chelsea are a few of her favorite teams ... Has three sisters: Kayla, also plays for the Black Bears, Caitlin and Ashley.
