Biography

IN 2016: Appeared in eight games, started four.

IN 2015: Played 18 games with 15 starts ... tallied an assist with four shots ...  registered her first career point with an assist against Stony Brook ... Maine Scholar-Athlete Silver Medalist ... America East Honor Roll.

IN 2014: Played in four games for the Black Bears, making two starts... Started the season-opener at Bryant (8/22)... Named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winner. 

IN 2013: Saw action in Maine’s game at Albany (10/24). 

Playing Background: Plays for Crusaders United and Coach Tim Dunn… Was a member of South Shore Select from 2000-2005…Played for Mass Premiere Soccer from2005-2011… Helped lead MPS to Super Y National Tournament in2009.

High School: Helped lead Cardinal Spellman to the Eastern MA Division II State Championship in 2009… Was a Brocton Enterprise All-Scholastic, Catholic Central League All-Star, and Eastern MA All-Star selection in 2010, 2011, and 2012… Was named Catholic Central League MVP and Boston Herald All-Scholastic in 2012…  Eastern MA Division II,First-Team All-State selection 2011 and 2012… Also participated in winter track and Basketball at Cardinal Spellman

Personal Information: Born May 13, 1995…Full name is Hannah Mae Lipinski… Daughter of Joe and Laura Lipinski… Sister of former Black Bear Hayley (22), and Rose (16)… Will be enrolled in the College of Education and Human Development as a KPE major.

Hannah on Maine: "I chose Maine because my dad went to Maine and played football, so we went up to the campus a lot. I really fell in love with the campus. UMaine is the perfect size school for me.  When I visited, I really loved all of the girl’s on the team, and I thought I would fit in well with them. I am looking forward to carrying on my family traditionat Maine and being a UMaine Alumnae. I am looking forward to playing college soccer because I have played my entire life”.

Coach Atherley on Hannah: "Hannah has agreat deal of potential to develop as a member of our program. She has a great playing background and strong skill set. Her size, coupled with her exceptional fitness level will make her a competitive Division I athlete. I am excited to see her realize her potential over the next four years."
