BEFORE MAINE: Coming to Maine from Old Saybrook Connecticut, she attended the Westminster School as well as a postgraduate (PG) year at Deerfield Academy … in her PG year at Deerfield she played in 21 games recording 16 points on 10 goals and six assists … attended USA Hockey Nationals four times with the Mid Fairfield CT Stars … selected to U16/U17 USA Hockey Development Camp (2019), and the Founders League Champions 2020 with Westminster School … as well as hockey she also was a Varsity Athlete competing on the field hockey and golf team … has two brothers Gordon and Stewart Gurnell who are both captains of their sailing teams at Jacksonville University and Washington College.
