HONORS: Huskies Scholar Athlete Award, AthleticRepublic Player of the Week September 26, October 10.

2010-2011: After transferring from Division IIISouthern Maine, Ward broke onto the Division I scene as a junior,appearing in all 34 Black Bear games... Scored 11 goals and added13 assists for 24 points... In her very first series against SacredHeart (9/24-25) she recorded five points with two goals, one ofwhich being a game-winner... Tallied three points again in anothertwo goal effort against New Hampshire (1/29)... Followed thateffort with two more goals the very next day, again, against NewHampshire (1/30)... Finished the season with four multi-goal gamesand one multi-assist game.

BEFORE MAINE: Played hockey at the Universityof Southern Maine … Had 12 goals and 22 assists in 26 gameslast season for Southern Maine... Notched 14 goals and 21 assistsin 24 games her freshman year at USM … ECAC EastAll-Conference Team Honorable Mention … Won the HuskyAthletic Academic Achievement Award … Scored a natural hattrick against Colby… Also competed in golf, softball andbowling in high school and tennis at Southern Maine.
