2009: Maine Bronze Scholar-Athlete... America East Honor Roll... Two-way player who made appearances at the plate and in the circle... Hit .118 in 17 at-bats with one RBI... Made one pitching appearance and recorded a 21.00 ERA... Hit a double and drove in a run at Binghamton (4/11)... Went 1-for-1 at the plate against Eastern Michigan (2/27).

2008: Saw action in 30 games with 16 starts... Batted .173 with a home run, two RBIs and nine runs scored... Went 2-for-3 versus Western Michigan (3/1)... Blasted a home run versus Binghamton (4/5)... Named a Maine Scholar-Athlete Rising Star... Named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.

BEFORE MAINE: Letterwinner at Brewer H.S. under head coach Harry “Skip” Estes... Served as a team captain during her senior season... Played club softball for Bucksport Fastpitch and coaches Randy McLain and Terry Hall... Helped lead her high school team to a state title runner-up finish in 2004... Led her team to three-straight PVC championships (2004-06)... Helped lead her team to the 2007 KVAC championship... Was named to the KVAC All-Star Team in 2007... Also named to the PVC All-Star Team (2004-06)... Named the 2007 KVAC Player of the Year... Named the 2004 PVC Rookie of the Year and the 2005 PVC Pitcher of the Year... Also played basketball and soccer.

PERSONAL: Born 8/24/89... A child development and family relations major... Daughter of Randy and Lisa McLain... Sister Meghan McLain plays on the Maine softball team.
