Biography

IN 2008–09: Saw action in 27 games for the Black Bears during his rookie season... Finished 10-14-3 on the season with a 2.76 goals against average and a .895 save percentage... Recorded three shutouts... Named Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week three times and Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month once... Began his career posting eight wins in his first 12 games... Recorded a shutout in his first collegiate game, a 2-0 win over Alaska (10/18)... Believed to be the first goalie in Maine history to post a shutout in his first career game... Allowed more than one goal just twice in his first seven games... Recorded his second shutout with a 3-0 blanking of Providence (11/15)... Shut out New Hampshire 1-0 (2/7) in a game played in Manchester... Made a career-high 35 save in Maine’s 3-2 victory at Providence (11/14)... Stopped 31 shot in 1-0 victory over New Hampshire.

BEFORE MAINE: Played for Charlie Skjodt and the Indiana Ice during the 2007–08 season... Team finished first in the USHL Regular Season... Was 27-8-2 with a 3.00 goals against average and a .908 save percentage... Named to the EJHL All-Star Team... A three-time USHL Goalie of the Week... Also played baseball in high school... Was selected in the sixth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, 153rd overall, by the Phoenix Coyotes.
