Dr. Erhardt
received his Ph.D. from the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University. He holds a BS degree from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University. He also holds two MS degrees in Industrial Relations from Iowa State University and Rutgers University. Dr. Erhardt
has a wide research interest on a range of topics including: knowledge work, creativity, virtual teamwork, workplace dynamics, Strategic HRM and intra- and inter-firm collaboration. His work has been cited over 2100 times and published in journals including Journal of Management, Human Resource Management Review, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Management Learning, Management Communication Quarterly, and Small Group Research. He is also serving on the Editorial Board of Small Group Research. At UMaine
, he is the NCAA Faculty Athletics Representative, and a Faculty Leadership Fellow. Dr. Erhardt
also works closely with a number of firms across various industries focusing on Human Resource Management issues, driving creative teamwork and managing workplace dynamics.
