Biography

2009: Will serve as captain for the Black Bears. 2008: Saw action in eight games including against #15 Ohio State (9/14).

Before Maine: Played first two seasons at the University at Albany... saw action in 26 games, starting in 11...registered two goals...Albany was the 2006 America East regular season co-champion and 2007 America East Tournament runner-up...played her high school field hockey at Belfast...a two-time All-KVAC and All-State selection...led the team to two Maine class B state championships... a Maine Event team member.

Personal: Born June 5, 1988...daughter of Cristy Lee Varga...majoring in family relations and child development.
