Biography

JUNIOR (2013): Played in 14 games for the Black Bears in 2013-14 … Finished the season with three points (one goal and one assist) … Tallied her first point on Sept. 7 against Hofstra as she recorded an assist in a 5-2 victory … Scored her lone goal of the season in a Nov. 2 romp against Vermont, winning 9-1 … Named to the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.

SOPHOMORE (2012): Appeared in all 20 games for the Black Bears, starting in three of them ... Recorded five goals for 10 points ... Scored a goal in back to back games twice; at Holy Cross (09/15) and vs. Pacific (09/16), against Fairfield (10/06) and against Brown (10/08) ... Recorded a game-winning goal in a 3-2 win against Brown (10/08) ... Named to the NFHCA academic squad and to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll.

FRESHMAN (2011): Appeared in 11 games for the Black Bears ... Ended the season with one goal and one assist ... Scored her first collegiate goal on August 27 against Siena ... Recorded her first career assist against Rutgers (10/22) ... Named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Honored to the NFHCA DI National Academic Squad ... A Maine Scholar-Athlete Rising Star.

BEFORE MAINE: Played midfield at York High School from 2007-2011 ... Ended her Wildcat career with 24 goals and 33 assists along with three Western Maine championships, including York's first State Championship, which Keating helped capture in 2008 ... Was a 2010 finalist for Miss Maine Field Hockey and was also named one of 25 field hockey players to watch in Maine in 2009-10 by the Portland Press Herald ... A three-time member of the Western Maine and All-State Teams. 

PERSONAL: Born April 6, 1993 ... Daughter of Cynthia and Stephen Keating ... a Nursing major ... also played Ice Hockey in high school ... Sister Caitlin played field hockey at Endicott College also has a brother, Ryan ... Dad played football at UMaine from 1977-81, uncle Thomas played football at UMaine from 1968-72 and other uncle Christopher played football at UMaine from 1975-79 and played in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills from 1979-84. Chris's son Conor recently played football at UMaine from 2007-11.
