BEFORE MAINE: Hailing from Keswick Ontario, she attended Bill Crothers Secondary School and played for the Durham West Lightning Jr (U22 Elite) … in the 2021-22 season with the Durham West Lighting she played in 42 games with a 0.94 SV %, 0.93 GAA, and recorded 14 shutouts … in 2022 she was a Provincial Silver Medalist and participated in the Ontario Women’ s Hockey League Champions with the Durham West Lightning Jr … represented Team Ontario at the U18 Central Canada Challenge in 2021 … has three sisters who all play hockey, Darby Oakes (14 years old) a goalie playing with the Toronto Aeros, Bailey Oakes (19 years old) a defenseman, who also plays at the University of Maine, and Madison Oakes (22 years old) a goalie, attending Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
