IN 2014: Played in 34 games for the Black Bears, making 23starts... started 14 games at first base... hit .250 with 14 runsscored... had a .386 slugging percentage... recorded five doubles,two triples and a home run... stole four bases on the season...recorded a six-game hitting streak midway through the season,including a pair of hits in Maine’s win at UMass Lowell(4/12)... went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in Maine's gameat Holy Cross... belted his first career home run in the game...finished 2-for-3 with a career-high four runs scored inMaine’s 12-3 win over Boston College (5/13)... named a MaineScholar-Athlete Award winner.

IN 2013: Played in 17 games for the BlackBears... hit .333 with two runs scored and five RBI... finished1-for-2 with a run scored and three RBI in Maine’s win overThomas (4/9)... belted a double in the game... named a MaineScholar-Athlete Award winner and also named to the America EastAcademic Honor Roll. 

IN 2012: Played in 17 games for the BlackBears, earning three starts... hit .273 with four runs scored andan RBI... had a pair of doubles on the season... recorded his firsthit in his first collegiate at-bat at Clemson (2/25)... drove inhis first collegiate run with a double against Fairfield (3/11)...named to the America East Academic Honor Roll. 

IN 2011: Sat out the season as aredshirt. 

BEFORE MAINE: Captain for Jesse Braverman atthe LaSalle Institute... in high school hit .411 with 20 RBI and 14stolen bases... also belted a home run... team won Big TenConference in 2010... 2010 Times Union Section 2 Area all-star...2010 Troy Record All-Area All-Star.... 2010 First Team All-BigTen... also played basketball in high school... born October 30,1991... son of Rick and Mary Jo Bernardo... a business managementmajor... father, Rick, played for the Black Bears from 1983-1986and was an first team All-American.
